Return Policy

Most items sold on Hey Lighting may be returned for a refund within 30 days upon receiving your order if they meet all applicable return & exchange requirements listed below.

1. Return & Exchange Requirements for Return-Eligible Items

All items must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging.
When returning or exchanging items, customers must use a shipping method providing tracking information.

Please Note:
Items returned without authorization will not be accepted. We will not be responsible for any lost return/exchange.

2. Non-returnable items:

Gift cards and personalised or custom-made items cannot be returned unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described. Sale items have the same statutory return rights as full-price items. We may reduce a refund only to reflect an actual loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.

3. General Return Process

Return Method: By Mail
Initiate a return: Please email us at contact@heylighting.co.uk with photos and/or videos of the items and let us know your order number. Our customer service staff will determine the eligibility of your return request within 3 business days.
Ship the item back: If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the return address. For change-of-mind returns, you must use your own tracked shipping label and pay the direct return shipping cost. If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the reasonable return shipping cost.

4. Return Charge

If the return is due to our error, such as an incorrect, damaged, faulty, or misdescribed product, we will provide a full refund and cover the reasonable return shipping cost.

If the return is due to a change of mind, including not wanting the item or ordering the wrong product or size, you are responsible only for the direct return shipping cost. We do not charge a restocking fee. We may reduce the refund only if the item’s value has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning. Any deduction will reflect the actual loss in value and will not be an automatic percentage.
